Need an immigration attorney to review my ESA appeal before submission
I am requesting a legal review of my appeal before submitting it to the Iowa Department of Education. My Education Savings Account (ESA) application (Application #702976) was denied because the agency determined that my documentation did not sufficiently establish Iowa residency and the right to remain permanently or indefinitely in the United States. I currently have a pending asylum application and a valid Employment Authorization Document (EAD). During the review process, I submitted all requested documents, including my Iowa driver’s license and EAD. My daughter’s school also informed us that the application was under manual review, and we complied with every request. I have prepared an appeal letter and would like an immigration attorney to review it before I submit it. I would appreciate your opinion on: 1. Whether the appeal is legally accurate. 2. USCIS case status changed to "Actively Reviewing" after 8 months of nothing — does it mean anything?
My I-539 extension has been pending for 8 months with no movement. Yesterday the status changed to 'Case is Being Actively Reviewed.' My current status expires in 6 weeks. Does this status change actually mean a decision is close? At what point should I be worried about falling out of status, and is premium processing possible this late?

Green card holder for 4 years — do trips abroad reset my citizenship timeline?
I've had my green card for 4 years and want to apply for citizenship as soon as I'm eligible. In that time I took two long trips: 4 months to care for my father, and another 2 months for work. Do these trips break my 'continuous residence'? Do I have to start the 5-year clock over, and how do I count it exactly?

Got an RFE asking for more evidence of our marriage — how serious is this?
My wife (US citizen) petitioned for my green card last year. We just received an RFE asking for more proof that our marriage is real — joint bank statements, lease, photos. My H-1B transfer is pending — can I start working at the new company?
I've been on an H-1B with my current employer for 3 years. A new company filed a transfer petition for me 2 weeks ago and I have the receipt notice.
