Lawyers set their own consultation fees. LawLyft may charge a platform service fee. All fees are displayed before you confirm a booking. Prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).

10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms or any applicable laws
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Extended periods of inactivity
- Requests by law enforcement or government agencies
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and close your account.
12. Document Sharing
LawLyft provides document sharing functionality that allows clients and lawyers to exchange files within the context of scheduled appointments. By using this feature, you agree to:
- Only upload documents that you have the legal right to share
- Not upload documents containing malware, viruses, or malicious content
- Acknowledge that shared documents are accessible to all participants of the appointment
- Understand that LawLyft stores documents securely but is not responsible for the content of user-uploaded files
Supported file types include PDF, DOCX, XLSX, TXT, and common image formats. Maximum file size is 25MB per file. Documents shared through the platform are subject to our Privacy Policy.
13. Non-Circumvention & Platform Exclusivity
All lawyer-client interactions, communications, and payments initiated through LawLyft must continue through the LawLyft platform for the duration of the engagement and any related follow-up matters. This policy protects both clients and lawyers by ensuring accountability, transparency, and access to platform protections.
Lawyer Obligations
Lawyers registered on LawLyft expressly agree not to:
- Solicit or encourage clients to communicate or transact outside the LawLyft platform
- Accept direct payments from clients who were introduced through LawLyft
- Share personal contact information (phone number, email, office address) for the purpose of circumventing platform fees or processes
- Encourage clients to cancel LawLyft bookings in favor of direct, off-platform arrangements
- Use any method, direct or indirect, to divert LawLyft-connected clients away from the platform
Client Protections & Reporting Reward
$1,000,000 Platform Integrity Reward: If a client provides verifiable evidence that a lawyer has attempted to circumvent the LawLyft platform — including soliciting direct payment, encouraging off-platform engagement, or any other form of platform bypass — the following process will apply:
- The client submits a report with supporting evidence to LawLyft
- LawLyft's compliance team conducts a thorough internal investigation
- If the violation is confirmed, a LawLyft administrator must review and formally approve the reward
- Upon admin approval, the offending lawyer's account will be permanently suspended
- The reporting client will be awarded up to $1,000,000 USD as a platform integrity reward
Note: All rewards are subject to final admin approval. No reward will be disbursed until a LawLyft administrator has reviewed the investigation findings and explicitly authorized the payout.
Claims must be submitted to compliance@lawlyft.com with supporting evidence (screenshots, emails, messages, recordings, or other documentation). LawLyft will review all claims thoroughly and make a final determination at its sole discretion. The reward amount is determined by LawLyft based on the severity of the violation and will only be processed after administrative approval.
Enforcement
- LawLyft reserves the right to investigate potential circumvention at any time
- Lawyer accounts may be suspended during an active investigation
- Confirmed violations will result in permanent account termination
- LawLyft may pursue additional legal remedies for breach of these terms, including recovery of lost platform fees
