Is my non-compete enforceable? Software sales, 2 years, entire United States.
I signed a non-compete when I joined a software company 3 years ago: no working for any 'competing business' anywhere in the US for 2 years after leaving. I have an offer from a company in a related but different niche. I keep hearing non-competes are 'dead' now — is that actually true, and does it depend on my state (I'm in Georgia)? What's the real risk if I take the job?
